Mobile Security Vulnerability Assessment

About:

The mobile application security testing will be performed based on the OWASP Mobile Security Testing methodology.



This assessment will be conducted under three major categories.

1. Information Gathering

2. Static/Reverse Engineering Analysis

3. Dynamic Analysis



I will analyze the application and understand the basic functionalities and work flow of the application. I will gather all the necessary information such as OS, application architecture, hardware info, etc. related to the application. Analyzing decompiled source code will be performed under static/reverse engineering analysis. During the dynamic analysis, the application will be executed on the device and interact with the remote services in which the application communicates for security flaws.

A report will be provided with:

- Executive Summary

- Details of the vulnerabilities and findings

- Business and technical risks and recommendations
